Yes, Reeperbahn area is a ripoff, Street prostitues are a total ripff. They will tell you"anything" on the street. Once they get your 50 Euro....let the games begin. Sorry friends, without doing some research it is difficult to find the right places in Hamburg. Some recommendations:

1) Reeperbahn/St Pauli
Go there only for Party (not before midnight), a lot of bars and discotheques to have fun, but only drinking beer and talk to "normal" girls. I am on vacation in Hamburg right now and decided to check out the infamous Reeperbahn section.

I want to warn everyone to be very careful, because you WILL be ripped off, if you go there! It is NOT cheap and when you pay E50, the girl won't even take her top off!! If you want to see her breasts, you have to pay E20-50 more, and if you want to touch, you'll need to pay like a hundred more. I am from the USA and I could never imagine that it could be this bad in Europe, but the hustle and ripoff atmosphere in Hamburg is very bad, making it even a worse place for sex than the puritan USA.
