I know most guys don't like to admit it but this (ahem!) "friend of mine" is starting to have (ahem!) .. 'problems' and my- er... I mean 'his', doc is suggesting Viagra. Being the cheap bastard that he is, he's choking on the price. $54 for the brand and $51 for the generic for 4 tabs of 100mg!

Checking online there's a million "deals" for dirt cheap pills but they all look like scams. Vacationing in Mexico every corner pharmacy sells generic for about $5/pill! What's up with THAT?

Any of you more "mature" guys have advice on where to find cheap viagra?

Split them in half or Quarter to see if they work. If so then you have reduced your costs

It's about $40 at Costco. And get a pill cutter and try 1/4 at first, it will probably be enough. Give it an hour, don't take on a full stomach, and watch for side effects.

Don't buy meds online, etc.

I laugh at middle aged guys like me that say they don't use viagra or cialis because they don't need it. Its more about wanting it. What middle aged man doesn't want the hard on of their youth?

Well, I'm past middle age, and I want teenage boners, and V gives me that. I can still perform without it, but not as reliably, and not as frequently.

Twenty years ago I'd never imagined I'd ever have a decrease in performance ability. I'm super fit and extremely healthy and always thought that was the key to keeping your youthful dick. Not so according to my doc.

As I noted, try 25mg at first and time it so you're taking it 60 minutes or a bit more ahead of time for best results. The best value is to buy the 100mg packs and cut the pills yourself.

I have a tiny young female doctor. What would he best opening line be to request a phosphodiesterase? “Hey Doc, my dick ain’t as hard as a 20 year old no more?”. Do they test it by giving you a hustler mag and hanging weights on the end till it droops? What metrics are used in validating dick hardness? What if instead she gives me a popsicle stick to tape to the side instead, or just calls me a dirty old man and kicks me out?

I've not yet had the opportunity to try either of these products from a recreational perspective, but have researched them carefully. On Cialis, had feedback from a business colleague in his early 60's that though he truly loved the product, he ended up with severe lower back and upper leg pain after his 5th or 6th time using it due to blood pooling that almost made him think about visiting the emergency room. However, it dissipated after about 24 hours. The pain came on 36 hours after taking it. V has been used by millions, but again people need to consider using the least amount that works for them (25 mg) and consume lots of water, and watch for signs of visual problems, blood shot eyes, skin flushing, digestive problems etc.

I am not suggesting that you never use these products. But do it with a lot of care, and observe your own take on things. Use minimal dosages, more is not better. Also, when the chemistry is right, you may not actually need it. And if you have not been exercising, have you considered starting a program that gets you moving and sweating on a regular basis. That may be enough to get those hard-ons come back stronger.

Yeah, that's what I've heard about Cialis:
Better and longer lasting than Viagra.

I agree with that but I don't use It for sex..i just use it so I don't pee on my shoes !!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally avoid both Viagra and Cialis, tried them, both worked fine but also delivered nasty headaches afterwards; especially Cialis, the headaches lasted for like 48 hours. If there is no side effects to you guys, you are lucky!

I have diabetes so pretty much rely on Vitamin V. Sometimes that is not effective.
Never tried Cialas.

Testosterone injections are also another possible method to try. Testosterone levels continue to get lower as you age.

Keep in mind, most ED meds and treatments are not covered by healthcare plans.

Bob you tried Tina's treatment did you not? How effective was it for you, were you able to give up the V?

As someone that works out regularly, I've found ED drugs decrease my workout performance. This is something that happens to some people, unfortunately it does to me. That's one reason I prefer Viagra over Cialas. I want the drug out of my system faster.

It's been found that Viagra persists for most people for about 12 hours, not the advertised four. I've found that to be true for myself, meaning I can handily go for round two, or even three, up to 12 hours later, but as long as I've got over 12 hours in between initial dosing and my workout, I feel no negative effects.

For side effects I do get some nasal congestion. My doc said headaches are common, and the first time I used it, I took the 100mg tab, and yup, nasty headache. Took 25mg the next time, just as hard, minimal side effects.

The four pack at Costco is $43 including fees. For me, that's $2.68 a boner. My drug plan covers it, but even if it didn't, that's reasonable.

Same here. It's just tricky splitting them into even quarters!
