Originating from Japan, Reiki is a complementary healing art that is comforting, stress-relieving and non-invasive. It is a subtle and effective form of energy healing that promotes relaxation and a positive mental state, reduces stress and anxiety, releases physical, mental, emotional and spiritual blockages, accelerates our bodies innate ability to heal, realigning our chakra system, brining the body back to a state of homeostasis. Just as physical symptoms may be treated through the use of conventional medicine, blockages or disruptions in the energy body must also be addressed. If allowed to persist they may eventually manifest themselves in the physical body.
Blocked or weak energy passages in the body hinder an individual’s ability to improve symptoms of physical or emotional imbalances. Reiki healing, therefore, helps the body create an environment which facilitates healing on all levels: physical, mental and emotional.
