Alright boys time for a rant!

In the thread Casual Massage the topic of supply and demand came up and that is funny because last night I was bored and scanning Leolist and was amazed.
If you look under escorts it seemed to me that the current rates (for any non Asian girl) are ridiculous! $280 - $300 to spend an hour with a girl?
There are some lower cost options but some seem scary and the ones that don't are probably booked up days in advance and even they are looking for close to $200 per hour!
Even the girls at the HE RMT places want $140 up now for 5 minutes work!
I understand I can be "frugal" but wow really?

It says something when girls can travel into YEG and get $160 for just a bodyrub and HE and be booked up solid and we are raving what a GVFM she is!
Makes you wonder how many of the guys who visit these girls are addicted as MM stated and can truly afford to visit these girls?

Another trend I am noticing is the number of girls who state "No Black, Brown, Asian, East Indian, etc guys" I guess business is so good they can literally eliminate large swathes of clients from their audience pool!
Maybe the ethnic guys just try to be smarter with their money? For the record I am a brown guy so maybe that's why I am frugal lol
As a brown guy when I see No "insert race here" I choose not to support them.

I personally have cut back on the hobby to about once a month and now I try to be more choosy.

I went to an RMT few days ago who I've visited a few times..she does not offer extras but does good therapeutic massage.. anyway.. while talking she told me she had an east indian man come to her for an appt recently to whom she had made it clear in advance that she doesn't offer extras and to which he had assured he was an engineer looking only for professional massage for a medical condition.

Massage went normally.. he paid n left. She noticed afterwards that he had jacked himself off in her sheet n left it bunched up on the floor in the corner of the room. Can u guys see why a therapist would say no to certain backgrounds?? A guy who behaves like a prick ruins it for others but that's life and I don't blame the providers. If we don't get a great experience from a therapist, we very likely won't go back so it's just as equally fair I'd say for providers to say no to certain backgrounds/ethnicities because they've had likely more than one disrespectful experience.. get paid or not, no one should have to put up with anyone's shit.

You then bundle it up and put it in the corner.

I’ve said it before, I’ve known/still know dip shits that have a disrespectful attitude towards women, and they are Caucasian.
A maneuver like that , by accident or not is unfortunately not specific to one culture.

Maybe they are just going by their own experiences? They got a high number of guys of a certain ethnicity causing problems so they just ban them. That'd be my guess.

And I don't think you can condemn a guy for jerking off into the sheets that are in a pile ready to be washed. Especially if he gets worked up and no ending is offered. If she finishes him where's it going to end up? On the sheets that are going to be removed and washed, right?

The convo or thread was about certain ethnic backgrounds being refused massage so I was giving an example in reference to that. Ya I'm sure any ethnicity can behave inappropriately. I have read a LOT of threads on here n not a single one yet about a Caucasian acting out of line...

Wow, what a thread. A rant that then uncovered so many other skeletons. Thought I should point out some info regarding pricing. Now imagine this... Toronto.. the nirvana of lower prices. Ok. How about 1988? The cool, hip, NOW magazine filled with ads for masseuses and escorts of all varieties. And multiple ads placed by some pimping organization that repeatedly reminded clients.. johns... that's us, boys, that anything under 200 for the hour equalled Disease, Squalor. These ads ran for a few years, and influenced pricing to the 200+ range, over 30 yrs ago. So when you consider today's prices in YEG, YYC they are nothing. Having said that, let me also say that if this hobby is destroying your life because your spend is not proportional to your earnings and savings, do take a break and think things through. Also the majority of providers do not offer a good value proposition. My advice (and please hold off on the hate mail), look for quality over quantity, go only for the experiences that truly please you (and tip well), but save the rest of your funds, invest and grow your personal wealth. When you later on use some of that wealth to indulge it is ok, and you can select the providers who actually give you your money's worth. I don't think it is the 80-20 rule, more like the 97-3 rule. 97% of most providers are not worth the coin they think they are entitled to. The 3% deserve more than they ask for. As clients, we need to understand this. Life is too short for me to fritter away my assets on useless experiences. I prefer to sip less often, but on occasions that I do, I prefer the wines that I truly enjoy. Yes. It does require discipline. The best to all of you.

I prefer to sip less often, but on occasions that I do, I prefer the wines that I truly enjoy. Yes. It does require discipline. The best to all of you.

And there's the rub (pun intended) To find one of those 3% and KNOW it! Most of us don't know what we've got until we try others thinking "Wow (insert name) was a fantastic experience- what if there's somebody BETTER!??" So we spend loads of money searching for her. We go to girls that get high recommendations only to find she's 'not our cup of tea'. One guy's bar maid is another's Dulcinea (Read Don Quixote...)

And saving one's money only works as long as one's 'equipment' still works. I'd rather spend it now while I can still 'get it up' than wait until I can afford it but no longer have a libido!

Imho, health and wealth have a common denominator. Discipline. No reason for the equipment to not keep working well through the golden years if some effort and care goes into it. Btw, I also enjoy the search, the hunt. But it's not that hard to cut out the experiences that you know will be sub par, the moment you meet the therapist, or step into the room. I've learnt to calmly leave at those moments. Not much different than selecting what you will not eat in order to maintain good health. The same holds for wealth, and quality of experience. Btw, not looking to debate this, or argue, just offering a counterpoint.

Very valid points.
I have found that though I enjoy the thrill of the hunt I hate the buyers remorse after being separated from my funds after having a sub-par experience, I now tend to stick with the providers that I know provide good service to me and provide me with the VFM I want.
I truly appreciate the guys on this board who TOFTT frequently and I will still go out there and TOFTT and share when I can.

Chaos, this is exactly what I was helpfully suggesting to those who are in their early years in the hobby. Use the sixth sense, to skip some of the experiences, even though you may already be at the spa.. but within, you know that the whole experience will be sub par. This improves the long term returns on investment, and leaves one with more funds for investing and creating life choices in the future. We can still actively try new therapists, but it's not on auto-pilot that you just give away your funds to all takers. Happy pooning to all.
