Insurance Companies should be open to cover Lingam Massage and shouldn't consider fraud

Insurance Companies should consider a proper well done lingam massage as a legitimate claim. If lingam massage is performed using condoms, the chance of STI's is minimal.

I believe the benefits of lingam massage are many. Employees are happier and less stressed and more productive. Less stress among employees helps them stay healthy and will take less sick days. Lower stress may improve performance and reduce workplace safety and therefor reduce WCB claims. Possibly, if employees are less sexually anxious they may be less likely to sexually harass other employees and will reduce human traffic too.

Massage licensing bodies and Alberta Insurance Council should recognize lingam massage as a legitimate form of massage and members performing this form of massage should therefor not lose their accreditation. If a therapist includes lingam massage as part of their services they should be recognized both by insurance companies and law enforcement as legitimate therapists.

If the therapist advertises as a Therapeutic/Sensual practitioner the risk of sexual assault charges by clients is eliminated. This is why I believe lingam massage is beneficial and should be adopted by all agencies involved with the massage industry.

That is sound reasoning to me! There's certainly nothing more relaxing than a good lingam massage. But I think it would be a huge leap by society to legally sanction sensual massage to the point of including it in the services of an RMT and insurance coverage. It would be a big line to cross by the professional regulatory industry to make that recognition. I wonder what other jurisdictions that have legalized prostitution have done with their stance on massage therapy and sensual massage?

I’m guessing the difference would be that legalized prostitution is not covered by an employee’s health benefits either. Not that I have searched it up, but I would guess an RMT in Nevada, or any place with an adopted, legal sex trade, is just as restricted as ours in Alberta........or I may be talking out of my ass.

I agree with Rubmegood .. it’s a large leap from where Alberta/ Canada is to where they cover this through insurance.
im not familiar how Netherlands, Sweden or Nevada handles this... but I don’t believe insurance covers this.

I know Netherlands is government regulated . The workers are tested to control STD’s , sex workers pay taxes thus stimulating the economy. It provides a safer environment for both worker and individuals looking for this

Totally agree, in fact there are some studies, perhaps not large enough data sets to draw absolute conclusions yet, that frequent ejaculation helps keep the development of prostate cancer at bay.

But in the meantime, I remain self insured on this front

And quite a few years ago I had a Russian female massage therapist who not only gave incredibly deep massages, but would always insist that the treatment was incomplete until she gave an exquisite prolonged finish with phases of torturous but delightful edging. Therapy at its best.
