They quote you a higher (10,000-15000) rate because they immediately see you as a "foreigner"; and they believe "foreigners" are "rich" who should and could pay more. They quote you a higher (10,000-15000) rate because you went to Budapest; i.e. a tourist trap with high prices. Ossie Boy is correct; do not count on statements like "We speak English" because they don't.

In Budapest, local men pay HUF 6,000 (USD 30.00), generally not more than HUF 10,000 (USD 50.00) per hour. In Miskolc, Debrecen, Szeged (in Hungary) they count on an additional 20 to 40 per cent discount.

These are typical rates for freelancer girls who advertise both their availabilities and cell phone numbers. These girls work out of their apartments and their rates include the use of their apartments (in big cities).

I suggest you negotiate in advance, and watch out for SCAMS that trick you to pay more than you wanted to pay.

Example 1: A girl might pretend that she hasn't got your exact change (when you're about to pay her), so you have to pay more.

Example 2: A girl might claim you owe her additional money every time you make an attempt to do something "extra" (like kissing or touching her). I mean whenever you make an attempt to do something, anything "extra", that she can itemize.

Remember, you do not have to pay her (outrageously) high prices, or agree to any of her (lousy) terms. Seek and find a better deal! You might find a freelancer girl who works out of her apartment (in Budapest) who also provides the very same service for as little as HUF 3,500 (USD 17.50) per hour.

Funlover has the right attitude... if a girl (in Hungary) sees that you're a "foreigner", she will get greedy and quote you an outrageously high price. Don't be misled by her outrageously high prices! Do not assume you have to pay that much! Do not assume that's the price she's worth! Just make her a reasonable offer (see the above price scale), AND negotiate, AND pretend you're leaving, and watch her accept your (low) offer!

The above comment I believe applies to Ukraine: the average wage in Hungary, Poland aso. is $500-$600. $15-20/hour in Budapest? Naaah, impossible. Guess $25 up.
