He has also encouraged Ford Motor Company to stay and is trying to bring Apple back to the U.S. to manufacture some of their phones.

Trump will go down as the greatest President the U.S. has ever seen. He has done more in 3 weeks for jobs than Obama did in 8 years. Even Cenk Uygur - who hates Trump - admitted that Trump did a great thing and that Obama would not have been able to do it.

I ordered my MAGA Trump Banner. Hope it comes soon. I can't wait to hang it in my living room for the next 4 - 8 years. America will be a great nation once again. Thank you Trump. I love you.

Yeah, it seems his solution to every problem is to not pay any taxes - he gave Carrier $7 million in tax breaks. That is nonsense. Where they are manufacturing it has nothing to do with where they're selling it. Plus they don't even produce the phones themselves, they have suppliers and partners - most of whom are overseas.

Trump didn't 'give' Carrier anything. With Carrier staying, they will pay over 200 million in wages to their employees over the next 5 years, they will pay tens of millions in development and income taxes (including plant reinvestments) and the federal, state and local governments will recoup millions from all that economic activity. The $7 million will be recouped 10 fold with ease.

If Carrier leaves, the U.S. government gets nothing and has to pay unemployment and retraining costs to 1100 Carrier workers. If Carrier stays and their tax liability is reduced by 7 million, everyone wins to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. It isn't rocket science.

BTW, Trump just got a comittment from SoftBank CEO to invest 50 Billion in the U.S. and hire 50,000 U.S. workers. Trump is the fucking BEST!!!!!! Fast Forward to 1:50 of the video to see him announce the jobs and investment in the U.S. He isn't even president and he is doing more for the economy than that POS Obama.

They want to make good relations with Trump to reap further benefit down the road. They do this with other governments all around the world. The difference is that Obama never asked Apple to invest in America but Trump has done so.
