Belly Massage for Stress relief & Calmness

For some of us abdomen is especially affected by daily stress. I work with the fascia to release the built-up tension in this area.

Fascia is a layer that covers the muscles, organs, and everything tip to toe. It tightens with stress and it can be released. This work is very helpful in calming the digestive system, releasing the tension in the muscles, and decompressing the spine.

Releasing the fascia in the stomach, reduces inflammation, calms the stomach, and also helps with acid reflux. Fascia work in the intestines calms this organ, and also decompresses the lower back. Releasing the core muscles frees the spine, and it's often felt in the knees, neck, shoulders, and even the scalp. Incontinence, which is often caused by misalignment of the muscles in the core and hips, can also improve.

These are a few things that stand out, but there is an overall effect. Fascia covers the entire body and works as one unit. When there is a release in an area, it spreads thought out the body.

The treatment is done over the clothes. No massage oil is used. A comfy everyday outfit is ideal. It's good to stay relaxed for a while after a session; the process of releasing continues for a few hours after. It takes a few days, up to a week, for the treatment to integrate.

Cost:$45 for 45 minutes.
