Let me tell you Ten Commandments of Mongering

First
get your finances sorted out
Which means get your necessities sorted out
1 -have a good health insurance for the entire family including for critical illness

Health care expense is the most important cause for financial planning going out for toss
So make sure ,you cover this first

2 -book a own house
Any where in Mumbai or outskirts of Mumbai or anywhere in Nasik or Any dam place where you will live after age 60
But Book it now and start paying EMI

3 -Keep money for children education separate

Once you do these three things covered then u feel less guilty about spending on mongering
So do these things on priority basis and then u will feel relaxed while mongering

Second

If you want to spend more then EARN More

How to do that ?
Use your skills
I will give you an example

One of friend is working in IT sector
He is good in maths
He teaches in coaching classes for tenth students to earn additional money for Mongering

Another known monger ,
Dose a small scale business of a small restaurant in addition to his routine job to earn extra money
So bottom line is open your eyes

Another friend has stated a small gym in his home town
There are so many examples

Use your skills and earns more
it is not difficult
Every one has them
Just look for itv

Third

Spend time with family
If u have seen
Most of us don't monger on weekends as it is compulsory family time
This leads to reducing carving for mongering and limits expenditures and off course it is necessary to keep balance between family and Mongering

Dear Ronitji

Could not stop.myself from writing this.

Financial education about money matters is very weak in our country. I have been educating many youngsters on how to save and invest. Because no.one taught me to. Had to learn it the hard way.

If you are a salaried guy or even a business owner, please do take the following precautions.

1) Never ever take a credit card. However enticing it is. Even if you do, ensure that the limit on it is set to maximum 20% of your take home salary.

2) Always invest 10 to 15 percent of take home salary in market instruments. I prefer stocks, and MF (i like equity mf not debt) both. Add to that VPF and PPF. So investments to be around 25 percent minimum.

3) Like uncle sam said, invest in a very good term insurance plan (covering at least 10 to 15 times your annual income) + invest in mediclaim and critical care cover for urslf and family. Rest all ulips and all are not worth it. Dont even go near them. A good combination of above two should ideally cost you arnd 50 to 60 k a year. Opt for monthly or quarterly payment as one time payment cam disrupt your budget.

4) If you arent a resident of Mumbai, or even if you are, then invest in a house in a city where u can retire. Or a suburb like karjat, which u will move into upon retirement. 1 bhk is sufficient. Lesser loan and then u can buy one more. In your old age u can put one for rent, so this can be one source of income. Ideally home loan value shud never exceed 30 percent of your take home.

5) Finally put aside anothe 5 to 10 percent of ur salary away in fd etc, which can be broken easily and becomes a source of funds in case of any emergency. Idea is to have at least 6 months of rent + living expenses with you at all.times.

6) After this whatever is remains, you minus your monthly expense. Keep.it aside.

7) Whatever remains after the above is your ideal budget for mongering. For some that means going to SB only, for some it could be some five star. If you feel that mongering budget is less than switch jobs, or find an side business. Many of. My friends put ola and uber, some even put auto rickshaw.

But never ever eat into the above 6, if so then you are killing your dreams and your future.

Always remember that tumhe apna ghar aur apna wajood banana hai, naa ki in baar waali log ka. Agar kisi.ladki ko tumhara diya hua 100 kam lagta hai, then let her fk off. U find some one else. Never try to find love or solace or companionship there. You will get royally looted.

As always u rock, i am going to follow your rule number 1... restricting it to 10% of take home salary. If i want more mongering money i need to find innovative ways to earn more. that way evn work wont sound boring knowing i am working for mongering
i am 30, not yet married, so have not gone for insurance, home or children education fund.

I live alone in Navi mumbai, so dont get to meet family( thats y i am always free after office), may be i will just call parents to visit me as it will help break the entire cycle of spend, alcohol and smoke. Lets see, it will be very difficult to suddenly change lifestyle evn if tehy visit for 1-2 weeks but i just need to live through that i guess.
Will try group mongering, never tried that ......outdoor hobbies is also good idea, will join some club this week itself.

Goes without saying that everyone in this forum loves u Sam!!

@ uncle Sam.. as usual you are spot-on with your advice. And not to mention, your 100% accurate observation on my mongering activities .

MK is a very good friend of mine. We met probably a year back and have been meeting in bars and outside. If possible would advice all newbees to meet him outside the bar and get a few tips. To succeed in any sphere it is important to have guru. Make MK your db guru and it will ensure happiness in your mongering life.

@ronit...Words of wisdom shared by all have a common aspect.. respect money. You earn it the hard way and don't let the girls cheat it out of you. The dbs aren' a place to show off your financial capabilities. Enjoy the company of the beautiful girls out there rather than to spend your energy time and money to outbid your fellow monger. It' the girl who always wins the battle.

Can someone confirm if there r cctv out side bars?

Are stewards treatable since that steve n caption were moving that girl everywhere..

Nothing offensive.. Wanted to share my thoughts to seek your suggestions

I am not regular to dance bars even had left mongering for a year or so started again after breaking up with my gf

I don't get happiness by throwing cash n make girl dance or to see girls dance in ob...

Many girls upfront told me that i me decent.. I don't know how why etc..

The reason actually is i get bored aftet a while watching them dance.. 1 ghante k bad bore ho jata he wahi bal ghumana kamar hilana thoda juk k dikhana.. kitna dekhenge..

The movie dialogue goes like have slept with more than 100 girls 90 of them r call n db girls.. Hence i get bored to watch them n i start ignoring them..

I have close to 25 numbers of bar girls who r in touch with me (its not a big deal you be nice to them pay them 500 they give u the no n text or call u once a week) n say.. aao na.. Tum aaj aao me kal milti hu.. Me kal aise milungi k bhul nahi paoge.. Someone even trashed a tissue paper n said kal me aap k sath aise karungi.. Par kal ata hi nahi he.. LMAO..

There r variety of these girls

1 who straight forward say no
2 who straight forward say yes
3 who say yes n actually won't sleep with u n day yes yes yes n gets money out of u
4 who does come after a limited collection
5 girls come just to meet n but a big no to lodge

Now days all dbs have cute girls of 20-22 but all ain't good in bed. How could someone analyse which girl is? How do can we know whether the girl is ready to come or just asking for collection?

I find it worth if my money is going to get me something instantly.. Or maybe after a week.. I did have an instant luck few times but every day no one can score a century.

Would want chicks to come without paying them on floor some do come at their own or some with due to settings with Steves.

After watching football final with family and friends settled to complete my unfinished FR but Ronitji's post caught my attention...

My views...

Monger spends money prodigiously. He is extravagant and recklessly wasteful, often to a point where the spending climbs well beyond his means.

Every monger at some point would have had his regrets...

My rule...

1. Ensure the family and future is secured. If not just don't indulge in mongering as there are various risks which can put the family and future at stake. I don't believe that you can limit your expense in mongering. If someone is able to manage it till now, he is due for the pitfall anytime

2. Family is not an important thing. It is everything. So priority is to spend quality time with family.

3. Never get into relationship

Financial security is paramount. Once achieved, you have the ability to live life on your terms.

As you are alone and young and sense of financial security has prevailed, plan your career to settle peacefully and postpone mongering for sometime. All I understand is that you are slowly getting sucked into mongering more and wake up before you are completely sucked.
