and tbh. it was 2 hours of over the top great!

The Markham Mayor and York Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Karim Kurji are against shutting down but shutting down Vaughn and leaving Markham open doesn't make much sense.

Outside the contiguous region that is Toronto, I don’t like the idea of shutting down an entire region. York goes up to Keswick and Georgina. If cases rise in Vaughan, RH, or Markham, why lockdown Aurora and north from there?

Because people from higher risk areas in lockdown will flood the open areas as is happening now.

Ontario keeps York Region out of lockdown but moves three other regions to stricter zones under COVID-19 response framework

Vaughan Mills is bad too...

Vaughan is the worse in York Region...

Vaughan and Markham almost equally bad in terms of active cases. Surprisingly though, Richmond Hill, sandwiched between these two have 2/3 less cases.
