What should I expect when going to popular semi-legit places now?
Are the places almost always packed and busy? Do they show me changing the sheets? Do they actually put masks on the whole time? Are their hands rough from the sanitizers? Has the tips gone up? Are they more tip hungry now??
KL_FUNGUY is one to ask. He has good info on many places semi
It depends on many factors such as the place, the particular MPA and whether or not you are a regular customer of the MPA. I've been to around 10 different semi-legit places since the re-opening (sometimes I just went in to take a look but didn't stay) and often had multiple sessions at 3 or 4 of these places.
"In general", here's my experience...
The sheets are usually already laid out by the time you get there since they change the sheets right after each customer. At the beginning, I saw them wipe down the headrest area but I think some are either forgetting or getting lazy to do it each time. You can always request a wipe down before you put your head down.
The majority of places and girls will have masks on. If they know you, it's more than likely they will take the mask off in the room.
Not one place or MPA has wore gloves yet. None had rough hands.
Except for maybe the first week, the places I've been to have not been packed or crazy busy. Door fees have largely remained the same but at least one popular place raised by $10 and others may follow suit.
Tips are the same as always and none of the MPAs I've seen appear more tip hungry. In fact, I probably saw 5-6 new MPAs that I never visited before and not one brought up any specific tip amount.
Services offered has mostly been positive. I've had some really good experiences with a few MPAs I've never seen before. All my regulars/faves offered the same services as before. I think in general, MPAs will do the same as before but many will refrain from kissing if they don't know you. If you are a regular and if kissing was on the menu before, chances are kissing will still be on the menu now.
Bottom line: if you are comfortable going out, then the experience is largely the same as before except for the masks. And like I said, if you are a regular, chances are the masks will come off in the room. Plus, there were a few places where the ladies didn't wear a mask at all, even for new customers.
