Cancer and heart disease are not contagious diseases. You can't spread these diseases to someone else.

I've never had cancer or heart disease. But I could very well overburden the health care system by catching Covid-19, from someone sneezing 2 metres from me. Think about that. Why wouldn't you want to prevent the spread so as to not overburden our health care system?

Heart surgeries and cancer treatments have had to be delayed by at least 3 months because Covid-19 patients are occupying needed beds. There are only a limited amount of hospital beds to go around. By preventing the unnecessary spread of the virus, you're freeing up beds, doctors, and nurses to treat cancer patients.

But, you don't care about our health care system because you're not a Canadian citizen, and don't have access to OHIP.

Covid-19 isn't similar to any other virus since the 1918 Spanish Flu, despite your false opinion against this fact.

Human health and dignity trumps the state of the economy. The economy always recovers, but people's lives never return.
