It depends on the foot traffic, if there are a lot of people going in and out especially after 8pm and bylaw sees them they can fine the hotel for violating the order.

I did do some researches. The stay at home order is not much different than a curfew. However there are loopholes in the law. Essentially if I am caught in a resident outside of my own, then I will be trouble.

There is no end in sight for the stay at home order.

It's worse than a curfew.

You could be, as one guy wrote on Twitter, getting in your car in your own driveway at 2pm and could get fined.

This is some Draconian shit.

But, cut back hours of stores to force people to stand in line longer and force them to be more grouped together as opposed to leaving the hours as they are, more spread out and let people shop later.

If this doesn't trigger anything in your mind about being a scam I don't know what will.

I mentioned on a work call earlier in the day yesterday that the province had instituted martial law, all we need now is for the military on every corner asking for your papers. One of the others mentioned that in Ottawa they had been asking for papers because people were crossing the border in and out of Quebec because they live and work on opposite sides of the provincial border.

So when this doesn't work, the military will be called out to help enforce the rules.

By the way, what happened to the vaccine, wasn't this suppose to save us all and deliver us to the promised land?

I know in the old rules they had the if you live alone piece, is it still part of the new stay at home one? I missed it in my quick read, if so I just got my get out of jail free card.

I spoke to my friend in Bylaw and what he told me in Toronto they are not going to be targeting individuals, they are going to target business i.e. Businesses should not have any worker who can work from home on premise, no curb side retail should have customers in store and groups of 5 or more outside. In addition if police are called to a noise compliant or other such incident at a home and is in violation of the stay at home order then tickets will be handed out. Bylaw Is being pressured to hand out tickets starting this Thursday and next week to send a message to the public.
