My First MP visit with Moniq at West Drive

I saw Moniq last Tuesday at West Drive Spa. Very friendly and great attitude and personality.

I opted for the bodyslide but she did not do much bodysliding or massaging with me.

Didn't want to miss out on massaging her also so had her on the table in no time.

Not restrictive and I certainly enjoyed pleasing her as it was well received.

Nice straight nose, bolt ons and sweet lips complemented her reddish hair and Russian goodlooks.

This being my first time at a MP and no clock in the room I pretty much rushed the session.

I definitely regret not being altogether there to enjoy this hottie for a bit longer. Think I was in and out in 25 minutes including showers.

I think I may have got gipped too as most reviewers claim to have paid $100 for their sessions.

The advertised price of $100 and $120 inclusive of all tips for a 30 and 40 minute bodyslide session coupled with the desire of the MPAs to please is what lured me to this place.

When I entered however the only options offered to me were a 30min or hour option. I took the 30 min option but was really there to get a $120 40min session with Bella. She was not available though.

I knew reviewers on the blue board said they went with whomever greeted them so I decided to do the same. This was Moniq.

She took the $40 door fee first and exited and returned.

I opted for bodyslide and I found it strange she said $100. I inquired further if it was $100 total including door fee but she said no it was additional.

I told her about the duttlist ads but she said it was her normal fee as she had expenses like paying the spa etc.

Not wanting to hamper my chances of receiving the full unabridged treatment I relented. I was already naked and the little head was receiving some current already.

Maybe the extra money is the reason I received the mileage I did as reviews often seem to indicate sessions at the top tier spas in the $140 range are often more restricted.

I was very happy meeting Moniq as I popped my MP cherry but at this price I may as well just add another $20 and see SPs at the agencies.

Based on the great reviews of Bella I definitely must return to see her.

Otherwise, though it was a fun experience, I don't see myself visiting MPs as often as I would SPs or even SCs which I've cut down on a bit.

My first time at a MP and the experience was a good one.

All the girls that are working in West Drive Spa dont over charge and give even better prices than any where else!!!!!!

You don't know what happened between the OP and your MPA. you should consider that Not all negative reviews are fabricated by your competition.

Well whomever it is introduced herself as Moniq.You may have an imposter in your spa. Lol

Anyway I visited with her in the first room on the right as you enter and pass your lounge area.

She wore a short purple/plum/burgundy satin type robe.

She had dark hair reddish brown. Partially covering her forehead and eyes.

She said she was Russian. She had fake boobs.

Said she used to work out of Hotels before coming to your spa but it was pretty expensive.

And I visited your spa on Tuesday 31st of January 2012 at around 9:35 PM and left at 9:55PM.

It's true your "advertised" prices are very competitive and your line up of willing to please ladies is not too shabby.

I am not an MP guy and this was my first visit and I'm not affiliated with any MPs that wish to destroy you as their competition.

I apologize if it was not Moniq I saw but everything else as I have written is true.

If you do find out whom it was please let her know I'd like to book her again but this time at your advertised price.

Better yet, I'd be willing to make the trip from Toronto to meet you and the MPA that worked the first room on the right Tuesday 31st January 2012 between 9:30PM and 10M to confirm if I am mistaken.

Unless this happens and I'm proven wrong,I stand by my post.

I agree with your overall point but if WDS is correct in saying that she wasn't working that day then I see why they'd be irked. however, spraggamuffin is an established massageplanet.netie so I doubt he'd be lying.

Well, the response to the OPs review obviously got some hostility in it. It would've been better to ask questions like. "Are you sure it was monique because she's actually not scheduled that day.." But trying to discredit the review doesn't fly. So much can happen in every spa and once the door is closed, it's out of the owners/managers hands, no?

Agreed 100% that it is not the best way to respond but as I said, if she absolutely wasn't working that day then I think the spa has the right to defend itself even if they don't do it in the most appropriate manner. They are trying to run a business and I would get defensive too if I read anything that is a lie about my business and my instinct may not be to making it seem like it was written by my PR people.

Not saying spraggameuffin is lying but according the WDS they seem to believe he is.

I think it would have been a better idea to send a private message to the OP. Instead, management has come across as hostile and certainly unprofessional in their accusatory attack of the OP. After reading management's response, I certainly will not be visiting West Drive Spa. Management is destroying their own business, not the competition.

Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread in the wrong direction but let's say for the sake of argument WDS is correct and that spraggamuffin is either lying or simply has his dates mixed up. If you're WDS you're going to pm him to clear this up but in the meantime some other members have read his claims and may decide based on his claims (which could be untrue) that they won't visit WDS because of this pricing issue. You're going to potentially lose business on someone's "lies" and not address it in the thread? So what do you do, pm every member and explain to them? Leave it and hope for the best?

Again they should have responded in a better manner but if they are right in their perspective of this then I don't blame them at all.

I suppose for the record I should point out that I have never been to WDS, have no affiliations, blah, blah, blah.

For the sake of argument only, If WDS read the review closely, there's nothin' said about how bad they ran their spa, and the lady was given props but something went wrong with the session which IMO isn't a big deal. In fact the OP still wants to repeat as long as the advertised rate is honored. I think this will be resolved eventually (hopefully).

WDS has since contacted me via PM offering to remedy my dissatisfaction.

I wish to reiterate that I was very satisfied with the MP and her services.

I was dissatisfied that the price I paid was not which was advertised.

I did read another review where someone paid the same prices as myself to Cindy so I figured despite the advertised prices, prices may still vary based on services offered or agreed to between the MPA and himself.

My review was not meant to slander the spa nor Moniq but that readers of my review would do well to clarify and confirm pricing before embarking.

I admit I could be wrong about the MPAs name but I am not lying about the pricing and I'm very sure of what I paid.

While the attendant may not be Moniq, it still stands that I paid a door fee of $40 and a tip of $100 for a 30min bodyslide at this spa to one of it's attendants.

Unfortunately I am unable to delete or edit this thread I started but will do my best to return soon to WDS to try and figure out whom it was I saw and replace Moniq's name with it.

In WDS ad today they describe Moniq as being a tall Blonde so unless she changed her hair colour, I may definitely be mistaken.

Got to go check my hearing I guess.

I will however try to return to the spa soon in the hopes of identifying the attendant I saw and possibly getting my eyes tested also.

I do apologize to the Spa and and to Moniq if my review has affected them negatively.

Back to the money: $4o Door fee and $100 Bodyslide leaves you paying $140 total, just $20 over the going rate at many middlin' places. If you were inclined to tip the totals woulda been the same, so I'd just chalk up the bits you thought were sub-par to the learning curve, and focus your memories on the fun stuff.

If you are inclined to complain, it is best to do it as soon as you can, and after politely addressing the issue with the MPA go to the management if there's still an issue. All they can do by remote if they hear about it here is invite you to go all the way back. And if they're inclined to be defensive, they won't even do that.

No clock is a no-no worth mentioning and dealing with off the top. I have been in places where there's a 'five-minutes' knock and it's unpleasant but functional. No reason not to borrow one from another room, or put a cell where you can see it. But as in the rest of life, you have to be prepared to leave if they're not offering the deal you want. Once you say, 'OK' it's too late.

And if you didn't actually notice the short time until you were outta the room, I'd say you did have some sorta good session to think back on.

I could understand you apologizing for the name mix up (which may or may not have been your mistake) but from the get go you were offered a price that was incorrect. Yes you did go ahead with the session but that isn't something you need to apologize for - it's an issue for the spa to manage so they don't have to read about it in the future.

In PM the Mgmt said they have the prices posted for all attendants to see but will be posting it up for customers also so there could be no doubt.

I guess they still have some stuff to iron out as the Mgmt in response to my original post unequivocally denied Moniq being on schedule at the spa yet their advertisement in the advertisers section for 31st Jan 2012 says differently. Lol

I had the same experience with Bella, paid 40 for the house and she asked for 100 for her very special session. Not complaining about the session just that I had figured on spending 100 or 120 that day. If I was planning on going to 140 I would have gone to SRM or AGS and had a real hottie for an extrs 10 bucks, and sometimes equal milage. I will visit WDS again but try to hold to the published prices.

As I said in my original post too the session was great and the premium could very well have been for the extra mileage/lack of restriction I enjoyed. Hence my assumption of YMMV in terms of pricing for whatever services.

This is compared to paying the same amount at a higher tiered spa and receiving no mileage or a restrictive experience.

I am still very pleased with both the session and MP I had whatever her name was.

At that price point however I'd rather add the extra amounts to see an SP rather than opt for a higher tiered spa and receive restrictive services. Just my opinion.

Discrepancies with advertised pricing seems to be a problem with WDS. I tried giving this place a shot last week, and when they quoted me a price above what was advertised here, I was out the door. Even when I casually mentioned their advertised "reasonable prices during hard economic times", the attendant was like no there's no such thing. It's as if they're trying to milk every dude for all they can since not a whole lot of us step foot in this place given the other options in the plaza.

I don't get what they're doing. They already have one strike against them with the perceived talent, and now their credibility is very much in question. Not good, WDS, not good.....

There are AT LEAST 10 other spas I would visit before even bothering looking at this place. Management is the face of a business, and every time I see a post from WDS management it usually consists of extremely broken english, and trying to defend the spa even if they are mistaken about the situation. Like any business, if you get legitimate negative feedback, SUCK IT UP, and work on improving instead of thinking someone is out to saboeforum.xxxe your success.

EXTREMELY unprofessional, and if i'm putting down hard earned cash for a short time in their spa, they will have to do better than that. I will take my money elsewhere...
