Lessons I think I learned this week:
Lesson #1 - If a Table Shower is included in the door fee, then the time the table shower takes is deducted from your massage time. In one of the massage18ave.com joints, the table shower was an additional $10. But the massage clock didn't start until I got on the massage table. See review following

Lesson #2 - If you drive to a place and park at a meter, always put more time on the meter than you think you will need. Better yet, don't park at a meter

Paid a visit to http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/thp/2262900244.html this past week, during the afternoon. Was met at the door by a petite FJ. (I only know this because I asked what part of China she was from. I know there are differences in types, maybe even attitudes, depending on where in the country a girl may hail from, and would love more detailed info from any informed monger out there....) Cute-ish (6.5/10), trim (7/10), ponytail, going by the name CeCe. Was given rate of $55/hr, $45/hh, which was also posted in the cubicle. (Notice the ad says $45/45mins). She was also to be my masseuse (notice the ad says "Choose your therapist"....)

Asked for a table shower, led first to cubicle where I undressed, then to a reasonably clean TS room where CeCe gave me a reasonably proficient scrub down. Also chatted a little in pretty good English.

Back to the cubicle (Real door and solid walls, though not all the way to the ceiling) Fairly decent hard massage really worked over all the sore spots. Some OTC roaming when I could reach, which was not that often.... plus the jeans and old t-shirt were not as becoming on her as they can be on some girls). Come flip-time, she was standing at the head of the table, and looks me in the eyes and says "You have 5 minutes left" Looking at the clock on the wall, I saw I had 5 minutes left not from the time the massage started, but from about when we got to the TS. Not being an experienced monger, Lesson # 1 above did not cross my mind (though going forward it sure will!)

That said, "five more minutes" CAN get the job done, but between the way it was delivered, and the surprise of it, there was no way the job would be done that soon. But no problem, I had enough $ to make the hh into one hour, and told her as much. I got up to get the $, and remembered my meter ticking out front. Knew I had only about 15 minutes left. Grabbed a couple quarters and asked if she would please go feed my meter - after all I was naked, and the car WAS right out front. Well, it sure was funny how the pretty good English in which we had been conversing sporadically all along suddenly just....disappeared! There was no way I was able to get CeCe to admit to understanding what I was asking. Not sure of her motivation, but it highlights Lesson #2 above, that's for sure!

All in all, I can't even say what else, if anything, may have been on the menu. I have a feeling not much or CeCe would likely have gotten the point of the meter-feeding in anticipation of the corresponding tip that would have accompanied a longer session.

Bottom line - 45 for 30mins of table shower and okay massage, + 20 tip. Definitely not a keeper and no repeat visit will be forthcoming..
