This is old Cleopatra fs studio. Asked and said no receipt yet as it looked they changed to just Massage. Said new ownership. Went in, old asian lady in scrubs came out. Asked if anyone else and said young girl busy make you happy. So i left. Not sure, sounds like still fs asian place available but massages and receipts soon.

I did a scouting run over the weekend, did not stay. Same uninviting entrance between Norwood grocery store and temple. Unusually bright signage was added to make the entrance stand out a little more. I don't like the area so I already have a somewhat negative opinion walking in. Same experience as Asian4ever walking in, older lady came out, asked if I like to stay, politely declined. No one else available at that time so I left. Didnt look like there is any decor change from the Cleopatra days, but then, it has been eons since I visited Cleopatra.

Yes, I was there many moons ago when it was Cleopatra's, like 8 or 9 years. Ooops check that, 12 years ago. Seen a very sexy lady by the name of Ruby! Not likely to find Ruby or anyone that sexy there now.

It was Massage 95 recently.....so maybe not too long ago, that was the case.

Not sure when the name change took place. It was Absolutely/Definitely Cleopatra's when I was there 12 years ago.

Interesting... They say in their ads "No Extras" and there's signs all over the place saying "No Extras" and yet they offer extras... And then they get all PO'd if we ask if there's extras...

After 19 pages, I finally found a Kyoto thread:

One night when No.1 spa was too busy to do a walkin, I decided to scout this place out.
(They recently started advertising 2200 hrs.massage service)

Right away, I was feeling what Qster feels about the place. Made a couple passes around the corner of the building, (with one young and disheveled lady peering at me, like she was willing to give me a car h.e.)
Decided to park a few blocks away and wait to see if she, and another lady in the back (maybe a Kyoto Spa lady off shift)...would leave in a reasonable amount of time. They did, within 10 minutes, and just before a guy left out the back entrance, got in his vehicle and drove away.

In I went, down the steep stairs, up to the door, and rang the buzzer. Based on the first ads that came out for Kyoto Spa, (that were also on Leolist), I prepared myself for the possibility...that I would be in the wrong place, the 2200 hours would be a ruse, and a scantily clad 20 something year old was going to answer the door, but no:

It was your typical 40 something lady, average to attractive, no to little makeup, and what looked to be another familar face.
After observing her very athletic slim body, in a regular top and (lulu)lemons, I introduced myself...and she said her name was, (and I kid you not)...Lulu. She also remarked that she was the only one there. I DIDN'T ask if she meant: "that night, or in general.?"

Now the place looked like an adult spa: it still had a room with the hot tub(with mouthwash on the ledge) and an individual shower, and the other room with the table shower was also there, plus what looked like, multiple other rooms. So, when I was ushered into my room, I was leery about leaving myself undraped in the room she ushered me into.

Needless to say: I was left undraped when I got on my stomach, for the most part. There was one part, where she threw a towel over my twig and berries, and climbed on top, for some deep tissue. Then, when she got off, she would grab my each leg around the ankle, turn the leg, and pull it outwards a little. Then, with each leg, she would do an athletic stretch, as well as massage all the way up from the ankles to deep inside the groin, and carefully avoid the berries on one side, and the twig on the other side.

As far as the overall back massage: great techniques, strong fingers and proper use of the forearms and elbows. On the flip, she again threw the towel over my twig and berries, and she again gave an excellent, and thorough massage on the front. Towards the end, I noticed a beautiful little butterfly tattoo on, I believe her right hand.
Unless it is new, that would be a sign...I have never had a massage from her before, and only saw her in passing...who knows where.

For you guys, and based on the environment, I asked about extras. She said that the owner doesn't want any provided.
That same owner recently answered my question, as to why the place was left the way it is: he recently put in a Kijiji ad, putting it up for sale as a massage or adult spa. I only noticed it up for one day, which surprises me. Based on the neighborhood, I would think it would be very hard to sell it. That being said, one of the other massage and/or adult spa owners , could scoop it up, just to keep it out of the hands of the competition.

I do not think they are going to get much business at all in that location if they are trying to be legit.

I do not think they are going to get much business at all in that location if they are trying to be legit.

I’m sure the “for sale” Kijiji adds don’t help the walk in traffic much. That is one of the reasons I haven’t tried it out yet.

I wanted to ask about that....but...if the place is dead...she and the owner would put my face to the review.

There is a possibility: 1. she just told me that, because she is picky about who she gives extras to....or...2. this is a brand new owner...that bought it at a bargain, to flip it for a profit.

I think if you pre book and say you've seen susu, you will get another massage therapist. If you show up and it susu just walk. I assume lots are mobile and would go where the traffic is. Like business you have to be assertive and say what your looking for. If you just show up without knowing what's there, kinda waste the effort.

Here is proof Kyoto Spa changed back to AMP, hence the xxxperience some one felt of rushed service and upsells.

SP Massage on Stony Plain Rd. did the same 360 degree too as $ is on AMP, not legit massage. Someone gotta eat and business got to survive. Hence, not surprised it's changed back.

The advertising really seem similar to the other AMP called Beyond Paradise near coliseum too.
Roster names seems similar too. Like someone said, go where traffic is.
