Christians interpret the bible through the tradition handed down by the Catholic church, not by taking it right off the pages of the Old Testament, since Christ eliminated the external requirements of the Mosaic law. In a sense, this is what the jews do through the Talmud, which in practice they consult more than the Torah. The Talmud basically tells them non-Jews are to be exploited and deceived, which is exactly what jews have done through the ages.
