How do you decide who to see at MP

I had been a long time hobbyist. You might even say that a long time ago, I was in the business of supplying Massage Supplies. Even now, I can say that a lot of the Massage Oil used in these spas come from people I know in the business.

I came across this forum a few months ago. Yes, there are very good reviews of some of the MPA and I have enjoyed their services. Some have become my weekly go to list.
However, lately I have decided, based on posting by the Spas themselves, promotors etc to visit some of these spas. Now, if the schedule for the day listed all the attendants available that day and provide a brief description of them, I would think (expect?) that they are quite accurate. Especially if these girls are as good as they are being described.
I go, do a walkin. Take whoever is on the roster. I just tell the MPA what I like in terms of massage how much I will tip. I leave the rest to them to decide what they are going to do. No hassle, no bargaining. At the end, I say Thank you and leave.
Based on the last month, in about 10 visits, the end result is I will probably repeat with only 3 of them. Why? Because at the end of the day, I have certain expectations, based on the descriptions posted, some reviews and most of all my own expectations. I will not go as far as to say these are false descriptions or reviews by paid shills or fanboys but some of them sure have what is call "rose coloured glasses"

You pretty much explain the way how I go about when visiting MPA's. The one I look fwd to the most in terms of looks and services is DFK and CFS/MPOS.
The best attendants are the ones who are normally submissive. They are the most fun to be with. No questions asked. Full steam a head lol..

For most Semi I do not expect CFS or BBBJ. I expect to get at least a decent BS.

For BBBJ/CFS etc Holistics is the pace to go. My go to place is eSpa and Michelle and Emily are my go to girls. They both aim to please. No need to break them in so to speak.

Younger ones from La Mony, QQ etc, they might be a bit better looking but their service is nowhere near these 2.

Of course, the fact that I am from the West end of the city I do not want to venture too far east to get disappointed.

Short answer is I now base my choices (probably 90% of the time) on deciphering through the info on this Forum.
My expectations and repeat rate is probably similar to yours (3 out of 10).
Not necessarily because of disappointments but more for the thrill of the "hunt". (current phase I am in)........
Previously I did not stray too far from a regular. Great massage, satisfying extras from a 30s to 40s age of women.

The long answer starts with :
Q) Why Massage Planet?
A) Its a forum in cyber space where information, ideas, views, are shared almost exclusively among males for the purposes of "getting their rocks off"

Q) How to decipher through the "noise".
A) I would say I get valued info from about 10% of the info. The other 90% are basically empty fillers of a repetitive nature. ie Spa ADs, Scripted Reviews (just the names change), attacks.
A) Know your "players and the sub-categories of Spa owners, promoters, shills, fan boys, MPAs etc. I am sure I also fit in among them. One MPAs in the past asked me to put in a nice review and I did.
Know which players or stakeholders are reliable and can be trusted. Many have multiple handles (sometimes antagonistic to drum up more interest and create drama). Of course you have to extreme hunters.

Q) How to I pick a spa and girl based on description/Reviews
A) Always assume that
i......The age and description are exaggerated (10 to 15 years, breast size, etc, etc)
ii....Read between the lines YMMV, "within semi-legit limit", etc
iii....Ultimately make your appt, see the girl, feel the vibe (non-verbals, ie how she greets you, how she dresses, does she fit the billing or hype).

Sorry for the long response but you can write a dissertation on your seemingly simple querry.

Not surprised this thread did not get more traction.
I would have liked to see more shared ideas but this sort of topic is ignored by the "CONTROLLERS" because it requires a certain amount of honesty and disclosure (not good for business)

To further understand why .....you have to have an idea of who the stakeholders or players are .... their roles/ function/ rewards

Most registered members have a role and a stake in making sure this Forum is viable and successful both individually and collectively.
For simplicity I will lump the players into 2 groups. Of course I am no expert and this is just my idea....so do not take it too serious or be offended.

CONSUMERS:
Noobs ...... Each Noob has their own reason for subscribing to this board...... anything from curiosity to sex addiction.
"True" hobbyist .....visits site occasionally for info.....the occasional sharing (ideas, opinions, and of course Reviews).....as the topic says how to choose your next adventure.
*Lurkers.......Visits the site but stays in the background. Usually an occasional hobbyist who might be shy and just want to "lurk" in the background.
Note* usually despised for lack of contribution mostly by the CONTROLLERS .....for not contributing to the industry.


CONTROLLERS:
SPA owners and Associates.............these are the people who actually have a fixed monetary stake or investment.
Promoters.......may or may not have monetary stake but are active in promotions and have a lot of power.
Influencers ......similar to promoters who are getting some benefits, kick backs , rewards from their role.
Shills.....are a subgroup of wanna be promoters/ influencers or that tend to be over the top to curry favors and to move up the chain etc.

Note* The CONTROLLER grouptend to know each other at some level. Definitely have relationships with each other varying from strictly business to personal.

Where do I you fit ?
I have been a Noob (Gotta start some somewhere)........then a lurker.......true hobbyist ?.....My contribution is usually geared to the consumer class..

CONTROLLERS (in general) can be identified by their vast knowledge of people, place and things (service,giving advice).
They are usually identified by their huge scores (messages, trophy points multiple handles etc.) and most are also consumers with benefits.
That are the "go to people" for information and serve as the backbone of the site. They prefer positive reviews, IDing spa and MPAs for promotional purposes
Some are great at guiding the consumers but others tend have thin skin, huge egos that expects or demands deferential treatment. Some will be hostile and go on the attack.


Why do I bother putting so much time into writing this?
A: I enjoy Massage Planet but sometimes I get bored with the repetitive content. I am sure some will think and even clap back with "who the fuck do you think you are writing all this crap".
I can handle the negative or positive .
If you have read this far you most likely are a Noob....a lurker....or a true hoobyist. Controllers are all too busy making sure the business is booming and they can get their reward.

Hence some topics will get NO TRACTION

I started the thread for this purpose. From the time I joined, I find the controllers - more so the promoters have a vested interest that go far beyond providing just useful information. Some will embellish their reviews with a "hidden message" that the MPA offers more then you think.

Why? I guess to drive more traffic to that particular spa/MPA

We have have to learn to read between the lines and also have a good memory because most of these promoters - because they write reviews that are cut and paste they tend to forget what they wrote even a week earlier.

For me personally I have decided that no use calling anyone out as they tend to be extremely defensive and just take what I want from this site.

I'm definitely a Noob mixed in with "True" hobbyist. I think later on down the line, i'll eventually be more of a lurker like HonestEd but I really do enjoy posting to members on here. Even if my posts don't make sense. It's thrilling sometimes when curious guys ask me for advice and after giving them the 411, they'll go out in the field and report back with a positive response. It's a very nice feeling.
Also truly believe we should all try and help each other out in this world. No matter how big or small..

Bro I am retired and unfortunately got too much idle time on my hands. Been around the massage scene a lot longer than most.
I still prefer and consider myself a True hobbyist.
Good to know that there are others who think like me.
Now I understand why Honest Ed always gives a but never post or respond.
