This is not a specific review but a report of an experience I recently had.
Over the years, I've had a few true RMT massages and more experiences with rub-and-tugs. I recently was given a gift certificate for an RMT experience at one of the high end, hotel spas. I was looking forward to the experience (true RMT massages, especially when done in a really elegant atmosphere with electronic beds, comfy robes, ultraclean showers, etc are wonderful experiences and not to be missed) but I wanted to avoid the uncomfortableness of the inadvertent "boner" in a 100% legit spa. So.....
I went to a cheap Korean body-rub (Yonge and Sheppard area) immediately before my RMT session. I got my release then was free to totally relax at the spa. Brilliant!!
For those of you (you know who you are, the threads pop up every month or 2) who are looking for an RMT who gives a happy ending, this is a great alternative. Have them both but at different places. You'll pay more but you get more.
My cost (YMMV depending on spa prices, MPA, etc.):
Gift certificate: free ($95 value for 50 min. RMT at a beautiful spa)
Tip at Spa: $20 (I should have given $5 but I gave more cause it was free, so to speak)
MP: $30/30min + $40 tip
