Poll Do you plan to get vaccinated?

I plan on taking the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine sometime this summer. My logic is at that point this particular vaccine will have been tested on a lot of vulnerable people so if they are okay I have a high likelihood of not getting serious side effects. Please take the above poll.

I have some ideas for other polls, like whether an MP that claims to have vaccinated MPAs would affect your choice to visit them, or whether people believe the vaccines are vehicles to reduce the world population, etc., so please save those types for comments for later.

I have been working all along at 6 days a week and in large groups. That is the nature of my job, we are very essential service. If someone told you that they were vaccinated you would just have their word to go by. If you are this scared why not wait out the whole ordeal. It will only be a few years, you have no control over who I see or who the girl sees.

No, we cannot give people truth serum, so honesty is not a guarantee. Especially when money is involved. As for a long term wait and see approach the problem is the different COVID-19 viruses are mutating and need to be contained before they mutate to a point where the vaccines we have no longer work.

Family doctors do not have the facilities to handle some of the vaccines, but larger facilities do. And if they do not have your preferred vaccine available you can go elsewhere or wait.

There's a lot of pain and suffering due to Covid 19, but one positive outcome is that it will cull the herd of anti-vaxxers (who are also likely Qanon and stop the steal believers).

I agree with LazyBoy about people needing it getting it first (now that LTC is covered, next needs to be essential workers in congregate settings, of all ages), but I was, nevertheless, age eligible for and took the AZ vaccine. I stay/work from home so I have no excuse for exposing myself to risk, and I should have been well down the line, but the AZ needed arms so I took it. No side effects.

I think a lot of deniers will eventually will get vaccinated on the QT. Self-preservation will overpower whatever pleasure they get out of being non-conformist or intellectually independent. Down the road they will deny holding their current positions and when confronted will forward highly nuanced counter arguments about how they did not say what they actually said. I do not want them culled. I want them to evolve or be held accountable.

It's a very good idea. The less people that get vaccinated, the more chances there are for this virus to mutate into other variations of it. It's best to eradicate it before things get out of control.
