Interesting topic and definitely a bit of a sensitive one. I have daughters and I would be sad if they felt that they needed to resort to prostitution or being a SB to survive. In fact, I would do whatever I could to help them so that they didn't have to. That said, some women don't have a lot of options or simply choose this lifestyle for what it gives them. I can say by experience that SA works. I have had a few SB relationships and a few ONS with women from SA. The ongoing relationships were awesome for the following reasons. These were not "working girls" per se and in two of the three instances, I was their only SD. I was simply someone who was able to help them out financially without them having to resort to full on escort work. Some of these women don't have great career options due to a lack of education or other factors, some within their control, some not. The think I appreciated about my SB relationships is that they were more GF type relationships. I could take them for dinner, spend the night with them or take them on vacation with me without having to remortgage the house. One lady who was in her 40's but was drop dead gorgeous and kept herself immaculate, only asked for $600 per month for seeing her once every week or two. I helped her with some fencing, went over for to her place for dinner and had several overnight stays. The second lady was in an open relationship and this was a way to help her make ends meet. $1000 per month for a weekly meetup and it was usually a dinner and overnight get together. I met her guy who also had a GF on the side. It takes some time to meet someone on SA but the result can be worth it if you are willing to put in the effort. Definitely lots of legit students there who are just looking for a bit of help and don't want to be thought of as a prostitute. Respect is key no matter what. These are people who are just trying to make it in a difficult world and they deserve our respect and kindness.

This is nothing new. There was an article in the McGill newsletter in 1995 about students escorting part time to pay for education. No widely available internet and boards back then. Ads were all in local newspapers.

Agreed I was on there and there wasn’t nearly the amount of girls as they advertised. Most girls said they had many guys chasing them so I think they are bullshitting on the male/female ratio as well.

Due to Coronavirus the sugar baby market for university students is shrunken compared to 2019. Due to high rents in 2019 it was easy to find girls at UofT, York, Ryerson who were looking to make an arrangement in return for affordable rent. Now as a lot of students are living at home with their parents and rents in Toronto have come down there are less people seeking this type of arrangement.

I see the opposite. since the job market has been terrible a lot more have been doing it.
