Security guards are a deterrent, but are not trained or paid to intervene in this type of situation.
It's winter time, way too easy to conceal a large knife , machete , even a non-restricted short barrelled 12 gauge shotgun.

Bouncers are a detterent in night clubs. They can also engage the attacker and are less likely to be overtaken than the typical person. It would be great if security could carry firearms, but unfortunately, we have too many dishonest left-wingers for that to be a reality. The most violent cities in the U.S. are ones where guns are restricted. The safest cities are where guns are openly permitted. Yet, lefties claim guns are too dangerous to carry.

Anyways, male security woud be helpful in these situations. A security guard with a metal pipe would give the machete attacker all he could handle, that's for sure.

As someone in the legal profession , i cant belp myself...forgive me , but how do you know who attacked who ?? He sustained some near fatal wounds.i beleive that the knife was the property of the spa, i mean the girls have to protect themselves from bad people. I think this dude came to the spa for some negative reasons and then they brought out the knife to try to deter his actions and gt him out.someting went south, he got slashed and wrestled the knife out of her hands and then he returned fire.i just dont understand how he sustain such life threatening wounds......i guess when the facts come out...we will know

No the difference between speculation and what some are doing they might say that this is WHAT happened like saying the guy is so terrible hiw he killed these girls......i am offering a theory of the case when i say...."I believe this is what happened".... I might say, the spa may have own the knife as opposed to saying this guy arrived at the spa with a knife...i am leaving the door open, while some have already convicted him.It may be a subtle difference, but in law it is a difference.even charging this guy with murder by the cops is interesting, unless this dude said something while in hospital, under pain killers....any good defence can have that squashed

I tried to respond but i dont think it went thru...the difference between speculation and offering a theory of the case is...If someone says, for example "he came to the spa with a knife" at this point , thus eveidence doesnt support that, but if you notice I say " I believe that the spa ownwd the knife" i am not drawing conclusions, i am not saying that is a fact, its a theory of the case. What i dont understand is how the cops already chargwd him with murder, unless he said something in the hospital to a cop, but under the pain meds he was probabaly on.....the defence will challenge that ommision

Why would as you say "logically" why would not a spa defend its self with a machete, which is just a long knife...legal to buy as opposed ti a gun...if you have a choice of anything, as you say, might nit be the best weapon, but the spa lime most dont have a legal choice of everything. Why would the dude bring a machete, if as you say, people have a choice? I am suspicious, even tho we dont know all the eveidence, was his pocket full of stolen spa money?? Yes some 17 year olds look older but then if he for example came for a massage and was turned away because he was a kid, it would make me wonder what cause the altercation.Would he kill because she wouldnt give him a massage??
