Kijiji Creeps

So I ventured out and tried a few legit places and independents, recently.

I’m not about to review any as for most reading, there’s no point. Those of you who have experienced legit massages know their value and those who haven’t, won’t understand until they do.

What caught me by surprise is when I met a home based RMT that just so happened to advertise a few days before our appointment, on Kijiji; I was left thinking I knew less about the massage world then when I walked in.

I wasn’t sure what to expect as every place I’ve ventured through Kijiji until then, have always been “happy” places. Regardless of my expectation, every single place!

We hit it off and had a great conversation before and after, and I truly enjoyed the lack of nervous anticipation that comes from “happier” places. Sometimes a legit massage and conversation is all the soul needs.

Though it occurred to me as we chatted before I left, that as of yet I’ve never met anyone from Kijiji who didn’t offer to make my day a little “happier”, until now.
She mentioned, that she almost never advertises on Kijiji as most Kijiji men are “Creeps”. She explained that on a single day she can receive up to 100 texts, most vulgar, many just flakes, and those that book; maybe 1 or 2 actually show. The saddest part is that she never mentioned if the 1 or 2 who showed, still fit the “creep” mould, and being I had just met her, I didn’t feel the need to ask.
Now, when I booked I had no idea what to expect. Her ad was straight forward and made no mention of services on the yay or nay side of “happy”. Yet still felt she didn’t need to express that anything beyond a good massage was being offered.

I haven’t seen her ad go back up, and I’m quite certain, it won’t for a while, yet I will see her again, regardless.
I just wonder about those that do advertise without innuendo or even those that make it clear there are no extras; how they actually survive the Kijiji environment without offering more or going insane trying to remain legit.
This lady only kept her ad up for a couple days to try and add a new regular or two to her clientele, with quite a bit of apprehension that most who responded would be “Creeps”.
Yet I see day in and day out (ok, yes I check Kijiji daily, sue me) ladies who some here have seen and report legit, and others that strictly say in their ad’s that they are not interested in providing more than an honest massage; how do they stay sane and navigate what seems like rough waters of a Creep infested sea which is this hobby.

I guess, I also ask myself as I finish reading this in my head; are they all as legit as they claim? If the Kijiji Massage realm is as infected with us Creeps as I’m being told (and I do not deny it likely is, with so few options left) how could a legit provider post day in and day out, dealing with the barrage of Creeps and yet still keep advertising?
Somehow, I’m seeing a veil that is somewhat obscured, but lifts when the time and occasion is right. Otherwise it remains lowered, a shield yet clear enough to see the faintest hope and possibility.

I agree with most of your thoughts as I have had a number of similar experiences over the last few years. I must confess to having a few legit massage therapists that I don't discuss openly on Massageplanet for the Creep factor. In talking with a couple of them, its a minefield out there for them when they place an ad on Kijiji. Crude remarks, impolite queries, mockery, and dick pics to name a few.

I agree that it is hard to tell from the ads as to who is truly legit, as so many of the providers state they are 'strictly professional', but in fact they not be. It's just their own way to try and fly under the radar.

With the demise of Backpage and Craigslist, Kijiji has become one of the only outlets for all types of providers. ie: few truly legit providers ever advertised on BP, although CL probably had a certain percentage more. Kijiji was the cleanest site of all. I truly felt then that it was only a matter of time before Kijiji would close the massage component to maintain its rather wholesome image. Hasn't happened yet, but I still imagine it's only a matter of time.

Too bad ther wasn't another advertising option for the sincerely RMT's to avoid us creeps.

Something that would clearly separate the "soft" adult RMT providers from the purely legit RMT's.

Problem is, I don't really believe the guys on here wouldn't creep over just to test the waters.

But perhaps if they did and always got no extras reply. Maybe it would at least reduce the creep calls.

Then again, how many ladies offering creep services would cross over and hide behind the non creep sight in hopes for some strays

It hurts to admit it but I land in that category......at least mentally. Does it make me the same is the dick pick sender? A bit I guess.
I view myself as the Michael Cane of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and the creeps are Steve Martin. I am a more refined creep........but a creep non the less.

Now without blowing my own horn to hard, I am pretty sure my tact and discretion is fully intact and I would never disrespect any provider when contacting, but I’m ultimately hoping for a HE finish.

I would be lying to myself if I didn’t have the same thoughts of ‘is that provider REALLY legit?’ When looking at a kijiji add. But then I’m not looking for a LEGIT massage often, and when I do I have my go too’s.

Agree with Bob’s hopes that the main core on MP would also respect the boundaries of proper edicate, but as proven in the resent past, good luck guiding the disturbed.

Yes, I fall into the diplomatic, respectful category, but when it comes right down to it, I'm just a horndog looking for some spice every so often.

Although this site can drive me crazy from time to time with its petty nitpicking and bitching, we are fortunate to have this venue to get a read on who's out there, and what's happening in the 'hobby'.

I travel quite a bit, and it is hard to find free information sites, such as Kijiji, Massageplanet, and CAF. In the Excited States, you pretty much have to pay to learn.

Oh well, our quest continues.....

Sadly this seems to be true. I have a friend who is an RMT and for a while worked for herself and placed her own ads on Kijiji. She said it was a nightmare, so many creeps and assholes, she said she had a bunch of guys harassing her. She moved to a studio so she wouldn't have to deal with that and said she's much happier now.

I'm not sure about everyone else but when I look at an ad for an Asian therapist I almost automatically assume some happiness may be had but when I view an ad from a Caucasian I assume it will be a legit massage.
Ads with sexy girls and questionable wording give the impression of "more" just to drive calls are just as bad as the creeps who contact the ladies, if not worse because it is painting the entire RMT industry as more of an "adult" industry

Sometimes on this site members are bitching about the rates that we are charged for the massage and any other naughty services that can be had. And some RMTs have been guilty of blatant greed

( Amy) . But really how many of us would want to rub middle age men who elevate their bum to display their state of arousal.? ( won’t mention a name but it rhymes with job

It’s gotta be a tough go. Good to know that the MP boys behave like gentlemen

I cant speak for everyone but I do know this, I don't recall a time where I was anything but polite and respectful when visiting a RMT. Never asked via text about extras, and always visit a few times for legitimate massage before even considering more might be offered. When more has been offered it was almost always the RMT that brought up the subject, whether it being asked if I would like undraped, did I want something extra, or casual brushes against the LG that were left little doubt they were intentional, etc.
My first priority with an RMT is a DECENT massage, if extras are offered that is a bonus. however even when they are offered a great massage does not always indicate a great finish is coming and vice versa.

My feelings exactly .for a new visit
I NEVER ask via text . For my first visit I NEVER ask for extras.
I get asked as high as 50 % if i need anything else
the same goes for grazing against the LG 50 %

Also My first priority with an RMT is a DECENT massage.

Bob, I think that advertising option died with the Yellow Pages. I know I will sound old here as many may not even have see Yellow Pages but they had a 'Massage' section plus a 'Body Rub' and 'Escort' sections. When Yellow Pages died, I believe there was a merger between the two ('Massage' and Body Rub') as far as the advertising venues go. I agree that even then, the legit places under the Massage heading would probably get queries about extras but I do not think they would be nearly as many. Today, I think the safest way for a Massage Therapist to avoid that crap (again there will be some) is to work out of an office like a Physio office or chiropractor's office. They will be open at 11:00 AM, not 11:00 PM.

I think something that would help everyone (legit therapists, those offering extras and us, guys, whether we are looking for therapy or extras) is if the ones offering happy endings would not PRETEND to be legit. All that happens is when they pretend to be legit but offer extras is the REAL legit ones are gonna gets creeps hoping that they are pretending too. There needs to be a way to separate the advertising so that those offering extra's can advertise discreetly and the therapeutic ones can advertise and separate themselves from the 'body rub' types.

Even after we lost Yellow Pages, we had that separation in a sense because therapists advertised as Massage and (I stand to be corrected here) the law changed to that you had to be licensed to advertise as 'Massage'. The rest could advertise but NOT use the word 'Massage' AND...Most of them worked at studios like Massage heaven, Pleasure Palace or other sexy names. The problem now seems like many have taken the course and use the word 'Massage' in their advertising PLUS also work outside of a studio so now you cannot tell if they are legit or not.

I should hope so...An RMT is about massage PERIOD. Extra's are just that, extra. Not gonna lie, if Any RMT does that, I'd LOVE to know but THAT is the type of thing that should stay in that room as far as I'm concerned. It should NOT be posted on this or any other board.

Unfortunately it is based on perception which I know isn't fair because 2 of the legit RMT's I see are Asian but lets look at this site as an example.
How many Asian RMT's (actual RMT's not the fake ones) have been reviewed on here that offer happiness and how many Caucasians?
If not for Asian RMT happiness then this site would not be busy. Also the Asian places like to use suggestive pictures and wording in their ads which creates confusion

The reality is that the "happy ending" being illegal or immoral or whatever is ridiculous. Sexual service should be completely legal, and not forced into some dark corner because some people are stuck in the religiously dominated past. This has allowed the exploitation of sex workers and created a dangerous working environment for many of them.

It should be prefectly legal for even an RMT to offer a sensual massage as part of their services to consenting adult customers.

Wow, how a post can go sideways.
I was hoping that some of the ladies who follow this forum might chime in. Especially those that do advertise whether it be Kijiji or elsewhere online and give their opinion of how they handle us Creeps and still open the door with a smile.
The emotional fortitude of women always amazes me.
