I spoke to my friend in Bylaw and what he told me in Toronto they are not going to be targeting individuals, they are going to target business i.e. Businesses should have any worker who can work from home on premise, no curb side retail should have customers in store and groups of 5 or more outside. In addition if police are called to a noise compliant or other such incident at a home and is in violation of the stay at home order then tickets will be handed out. Bylaw Is being pressured to hand out tickets starting this Thursday and next week to send a message to the public.

If you aren't supposed to go out why have a limit of 5 people gathering outside?

True, there really isn’t much difference then before. This was just Fords answer to his critics asking why the big box stores were allowed to stay open. Some how making them close early is an answer.

In the U.S., hospitals get paid a 20% bonus from Medicare if they list the patients deaths as Covid19 related.

Even patients in Hospice Care, aka Terminally Ill patients, will be listed as Covid19 deaths.

So, someone who is suffering from heart failure or kidney failure, who is considered likely to die from those health ailments, will be listed as a Covid death unpon their passing.

I think the calculation is if they are working out of a hotel or out of an apartment/condo. Working out of a hotel is risky as the hotel itself can be fined if police/bylaw find that an agency is working out of it. For some hotels the revenue from an agency may not be worth the risk of a fine.

Many condos have residents snitching on on units that are getting a lot of visitors. Some Agency’s don’t want to take the risk of getting busted.

Many condos also have security and concierge checking visitors.

Most agencies will likely take the MP's route: officially closed, no advertising but still taking appointments from trusted clients.

I wonder if agencies will start renting houses: seems safer than condos and hotels. Less headache of nosey neighbors, no front desk/concierge to manage.

Hookers and Pimps don't often tell the gov't.

And which snitch wants to be thought of as 'knowing' which agencies are open? Imagine getting a letter from the Crown Attorney's office regarding your snitching on a hooker agency. Most guys wouldn't want their wives or girlfriends to see such letters.
