Chat Spas - How are they doing?

Friggn lockdown. So been checking some west end spas... what I’m seein:

1. Big spas: (4+ Girls shift) Quiet, waiting... outside suspiciously clean... maybe special clients served?
2. Midsize spas (2-3 girls): Stealth opening
3. Small spas: dead quiet / outta biz... a few open if they can...

...figured well run large biz not gonna risk licence unless it drags on... doubt they answer doorbell, but looks 2 me like 4 special clients, very carefully rolling dice...

...looks bad 4 small spas... but mayb just reopen nearby after lockdown...

RIP: Mia Wellness, Five Star spa (Keele Ingraham 2nd Fl).

...not only spas in trouble... empty storefronts everywhere... landlords might b smart 2 cut deal w/ current tenants... gd luck finding new one...

...one small semi-legit in isolated area looks 2b open.... perfect setup, tons cameras, no external windows... as client, u r ok, no gonna catch u... maybe undercover cop once u leave, but even then, girl can spot ‘em... wonder if they’re gonna become FS w/ biz so slow?

...tiny 2nd fl neighborhood spa looks stealth opened... last week, blinds closed, but u could see around them, dark & dead... this week, hmm! New window covering, totally covers every inch of window... guessing something 2 hide now!

... both midsz spas = stealth opened... light off, dark, ... but one had folding sign out, & other had back door open & MPA sitting outside... ok, not so stealthy, but lights off...

...Ont finally expanded testing this week, so symptomatic ppl w doctors note get tested... till now, u quarantine , got better, dint count.

...Laugh when comparing us 2 Korea... Cda only testing ppl in hospital, Korea testing ppl w NO SYMPTOMS because of contact History...

...so now ppl w symptoms NOT IN HOSPITAL tested... but still no contact tracing...

Good intel - dice are a nice touch.. ha ha - your right about the landlords - good luck finding new tenants in this market..

...if landlord cut them a break, they’d still b there... Mia being sold, I hear, b4 lockdown... guess just license being sold now... that whole plaza = mess, construction, parking impossible w/ lot torn up...

...other spa same plaza, Oriental Wellness, looks empty & shutdown 2...

Spatalia moved away 6 mos ago... never went, but neighbours said bad place... meaning gd place!

So local hobbyists in trbl...

The problem right now is we run the risk of being fined by bylaw officers if we get caught going or leaving the spa. That is bad news for me. It is very risky now.

very small plaza - just blocks away from 22 division - maybe better to keep the distance and find another spot - but I hear you, locals will need to find alternatives - since 2009 recession, things were good - growth and stability but before xmas, things were slowing down in certain sectors - Out with the old and in with the new - lets hope something even better comes from Mia's downturn. I've seen walls knocked down in plazas so tenant could expand - they convert to even a bigger footprint in plaza -

...gr8 potential w condos going up everywhere, but sux now... almost no parking... ok 4 us cyclists... but most ppl drive...

...never heard any LE problems there... maybe they don’t wanna catch their own guys...

...if both spas close, somebody should open new one there.... post lockdown...

...think bank’s b ok investing my RRSP in a spa...?

fined for more things then just attending a business that's supposed to be closed
