I sent a text and asked about location. The canned response gave me the address and said therapists are NHPC registered and can direct bill or give receipts. Promo rates 40/30 mins, 60/60 mins.

I booked for thirty minutes and thought for that rate I can't go wrong. I was met by a very rotund Asian lady who's looks would not cause me to take a sideways glance in the mall. I was shown to the room which does not have shower and is quite bare. I was told to get undressed and she would be back. Hmm no towel for draping so I just stripped down and laid face down on the table.

She came back into the room, introduced herself as Bibi, asked how much pressure I wanted and started in the deep tissue massage I requested. Five minutes into the massage I told her I would like to extend to an hour which she accommodated. What followed was an hour of bar none the best massage I have received in Edmonton. When she was finished on my back she had me flip over and she continued with the same quality massage sweeping from my legs to chest and back, avoiding getting too close to the important areas in between. Throughout the massage she maintained the pressure and worked very hard.

She is a very nice woman late twenties woman with excellent English skills who clearly enjoys her work and takes pride in it. She said there are two therapists working at this location.

I can't comment about extras, but I can say they don't seem to be shy by not having a towel on the table for draping. I did not ask for a receipt so can not comment on direct billing.

The quality of the massage I received makes this location a definite repeat for me. Take advantage of the rates while you can.

You pay after the massage. For just a massage its up to you if you want to tip or not. But you should bring a bit of extra money in case there are options available

She won't cheat you on time. She was very meticulous about that. One of the few I have been with that warranted a tip at the end as she worked very hard.

It took me a few tries as well, but I finally got an appointment. I got the same lady as Albert, she's a bbw, not my type, but her massage was quite good. She used good pressure, but not the kind of pressure that hurts. Good value for the money, I left feeling relaxed.

Just a bit of a caution now. She gave me a good deep tissue massage which I requested, but when she got into my upper shoulder she used her elbows which caused a bit of a twinge at the time. Over the next few days it got progressively worse. By Tuesday I as in agony with pain from my shoulder down to the bottom of my rib cage. A hot bath, tiger balm and repeated Advil seems to have fixed the problem, but I was concerned I was going to have to go back and pay again to have her fix the issue. Maybe best to ask this lady for medium as when she puts her significant weight into a deep tissue massage it may be too much for many.

As I mentioned on one of Analise's ad threads: this place and it's bargain $60 dollar an hour massages...appears to already be gone from( the old Samba location?). I stopped by recently to investigate and could hear a therapist talking to a client, but left before anyone might come to the door. In the waiting room, there appeared to be a new therapist renting a room; as there was a pamphlet indicating so. I believe also that Samba owner Karen has returned to this location...but I could be wrong.

A number of months ago, I saw this BBW "Bibi" as was named by Albert Johnson. I recognized her and her forearm tattoo and concluded she was the Korean SuSu from Qi Massage that used to be at the back of the hair salon in China Town. Her massage had actually got even better than before. So it's definitely sad to see another quality therapist apparently disappear. She worked out of the same room I got my one and only Kelly massage. It had a newer sink, and very relaxing fountain with a mood light. The ambience was excellent and she didn't miss a single body part. There was an even an offer to receive the "full body" treatment. I played a little dumb and asked for clarification. It seems ladies are trying to help us with better code words!
