What do you mean you have no guideline or example? Your tutor should be helping you as much as he/she can. Google sports massage case studies, there will be lots online good luck

Hi , what course are you doing? you would normally be expected to do a greater number of case studies, is this part of the requirement, as previously stated, your course tutor should have given you appropriate advice and examples
    regards

    Hi Jade697,

Don't limit yourself to sports related injuries, one of my case studies had knees in permanent flexion, another was in the final stages of healing with a frozen shoulder. Talk to friends/family/colleagues there's bound to be someone with a dodgy knee, aching back etc., apply what you've learned to the injury.

24 case studies was the minimum on my course, it took at least until the third treatment before I felt confident with my assessment techniques, 4 doesn't seem anywhere near enough independent practice. If time allows do extra treatments, I'm sure you won't lose marks for it.

    Good Luck.

Thanks very much for your tips and advice.
@biggazfromlincoln Im doing a Post Grad Complementary Therapy course. It's Sports Massage Reflexology and Spa Treatments. It's a one year course and we had 10 case studies for Spa and Reflexology and 4 for Sports Massage but they were the hardest ones.
Our tutor only gave us one example of a case study she told us was the "perfect example" i was so stuck that when i did my first case study I coppied it all nearly word for word and when I got it back I also got back 3 pages of things that were wrong wit it. Apart from that I got no other help. As i couldnt do my case studies in time for the deadline I cant sit that exam now. Im really mad as I spent the year studying for it and have paid the exam fee and all. But im going to try and resubmitt them next year.
