Unfortunately even if they are UTR it looks like LE wants to shut them all down. LE can always come up with a reason to bust them if they want to.

I find the AMPs in plazas to be one-stop shopping on the lunch hour. I go get a 30 minute massage with benefits and two slices of pizza before heading back to work.

The plazas are so convenient, the girls are usually friendly and accomodating. Problem is, eventually someone will call LE and even if no one is arrested, just a visit often closes the place. Or, makes the girls so edgy that the menu becomes limited.

Looks like rochester is still in business. 5 AMP advertising almost daily. Fairport AMP is having a grand opening again. Must have new girls.

In Buffalo even after the last bust a few kept on advertising for weeks even though they were closed. We have one which after being open for over a year still advertises their same 'grand opening' ad from when they first opened.

Drove by the Fairport AMP 2 times today. The place is lit up and the open signs are on. New sign out front for best eastern spa.

More data. The Fairport issue apparently was strictly a licensing issue with no other drama. The newer girl was there. She was alone and I was only able to do a HH when I prefer an hour. I really do love the massage part and need it for for my back. Supposedly a new girl coming on Sunday and they may have 3 then instead of their two. She said she knew either Five Spa was closed or five spas were closed. My Engrish is not great. They apparently got into trouble. My gun was unloaded.

Saw 2 Sunrise reviews so I figured things were back to normal. Here I sit in the parking lot and the place is closed. WTF!

The dates they put that they wnet to Sunrise were 12-1 and 12-5. Not sure when all this started.

This thread began 11/23. And on 11/23 I found Sunrise closed so I'm thinking they reopened for a bit in between.

They were open about a week and a half ago when I went, but then I drove by this evening after work after your post yesterday and they are still closed. Not sure whats going on. I really liked that place, so I hope this is just temporary.

What's up my AMP lovers. I will be back in town but will have the SO with me so I won't be able to dabble in the Orient this time around. Just thought I'll add my 2 cents in on this topic.

We just got hit (again) down here in northern VA. The last sweep was a couple months ago. A big sweep. Part of some combating Human Trafficking b.s. They had numerous feds from varying agencies and local LE and local Fire and Code Enforcement people hitting up Amp after Amp. They found no evidence of "trafficking" but it made the providers edgy.

Best places I found to be safe havens for Amps is when they are situated in ethnic commercial/business park areas. Down here in the DC area, you have whole business parks and office parks occupied by Asian or Hispanic businesses(some displaying no English signs, just signs in their native language) that don't give a rats a$$ about who is coming and going out of an AMP. No such environment up in upstate NY. Too many "goody two shoes" snooping around and calling LE to rat an AMP out. The places near me that never get raided or hit are the ones that are situated in these ethnic office/commerical parks.

Anyone remember Puja? A nice "back of the plaza" entrance but I always wondered what the people in the apartments thought of a "spa" opened 'till 3am, with cars coming and going.

This is the same MO used in the last bust in the Buffalo burbs. Raids involved Feds, State Police and local LE from the towns closing down all AMPs. At one time there were over a dozen AMPs. Right now it looks only one is open and for how long it remains open, who knows. The girls there are edgy also.

So anyway, there was this amp near me that was run from the back of a take out kitchen and if you ask for the *special* chop suey. They take you out to the back and rub you down with the used cooking oil. Anyway, they just got busted too. Was my favorite place for the dinner combo and sesame oil slide. So nice
