Cabinman's Reno story made me think we should have some contributions from our guests and members about their most unexpected romps.

Years ago I started a new job with a group of people in a training session. One young lady, well young for me , sat beside me and we became friends. Years ago, still in my twenties, working on a government contract at Yellowknife, flying up every Monday, back every Friday, the same flight attendant served me for 3 straight weeks back and forth. It was late fall so load was really light.

If you know the north, during the slow seasons, some of the planes are converted to ½ cargo ½ pax, a barrier right behind the middle emergency exit on a 737, only a single FA per flight. I always sit at the back because the other paxs insist on sitting on the first few rows and I have the entire back emergency exit row to myself. After handing out coffee tea etc. The FA would sit down across the aisle from me and read a magazine, she was always friendly but professional.

On the 4th week, instead of sitting across the aisle from me, she motioned me to move to the windows seat and sat beside me. We started chatting. What work do I do, do I fly lots etc etc.

“So, do you always fly home on the weekends?”
“Usually, nothing to do in Yellowknife.”
She started to gently tap on the back of my hand <-big enough hint that even Q caught on, “I am rotating off this route next week and I am actually spending this weekend in Yellowknife before I switch route.”
“OH! Do you want someone to hang out with?”
“That would be nice, the local guys are creepy unless I am with someone”; pointing at her ring on the ringfinger, “even wearing this hadn’t stopped them from hitting on me.”
