Massages are draped only, and the massage is performed without powder or oil because a sheet is draped over you the entire time, you remain in your underwear. The massage is performed over that sheet they draped you. So after the massage, you go home and moisturized your skin because some linen burns may have occurred. All aunties above 45......

I went to Mei's once last year on a whim, greeted by an auntie, I wasn't sure If I would stay or not, and then out came a really hot 20ish asian girl so I asked for her.

The massage was as weldunn described though, fully draped the whole time, no funny business at all, totally legit.

I don't really enjoy a massage under a sheet so I didn't return even though the girl was super friendly and cute.

I'm bored right now...and about to start a list of reviews. I really never wanted to give a review of this place...but I've had such shitty luck with massages lately, I might as well talk about the worst ...maybe exorcising the Ghosts of Massaging Past:

One chilly fall day, two years ago, I'm carrying a lot of (work related) pain. So, trying to find a good replacement for Summer's Body Torture Chamber, I thought I'd give Mei's a try. I do a walk in and hope for the best. A granny (I assume Mei/Owner) greets me and tells me I'm in "luck" and there was a cancellation. While sitting and waiting by the entrance, I can't help but notice that the door is propped open, letting noise and about -10 C temperature into the room.

After about 20 minutes, out comes from one room, a 100lb.+ ish, 50yr.+ lady to usher me into my partly refrigerated room. I'm told to keep my underwear on and get under the sheet. When she comes in, she asks me what problem areas I have (mostly back and little in the groin), and proceeds to put the sheet over my head. I'm completely covered and thinking: "this is either a feeble attempt at keeping me warm, or I was about to be injected with something to put me in a coma...and I was about to be shipped to China to have my organs harvested"

Sorry to say...but I don't remember if there was much in the way of regular massage techniques. She'd feel around for the problem areas, do a little acupressure, and then do a lot of c.p.r. type movements. I thought "I'm in pain, I don't think I'm dying. And doesn't she know where the heart is?" And my body would bounce a little with each movement. Just when I think it can't get worse, she decides to climb on top:

And now it's cpr movements again...with her feet!!!! Back and forth across my body and legs, unleashing a fury of body shaking cpr movements. I want to cry out: "Please...I'm too old to die. I've never been to China, I'm not a Canadian spy, and we don't have the technology to read your microfilm"

I do the flip, my head pops out, she feels around to find my groin, and proceeds to...Wait for it...perform a version of cpr on my groins. It ends, she offers hot towels...and I'm thinking "Hot towels...yes maybe that will help with the new pain...or give some pneumonia" But she does it over the sheet...say what!!!

I don't remember her telling me her name...but she did ask me how I liked it. If her name was Jenny, I might have replied "I'm not a smart man Jenny, but I know what a good massage is" I, of course lied, and said it was "not bad"...but I'm sure I will get a pass on being sent to hell...because I got an idea of what hell would be like...if it started to freeze over.

I often wonder if that experience classifies as therapy or Assault and Battery...but what jury is going to believe I got beaten up by a middle aged woman 80lbs lighter and so skinny, that when she turned sideways after the massage, she kept disappearing.

I paid my 65 dollar fee and 10 dollar tip (doh!!) and disappeared into the night....never to return again.

It did happen...and if the lady could have seen my face under the sheet...it was an expression very similar to a deer caught in the headlights.

"Mei's Massage Centre" located across the Pacific Rim Mall.
I know it's accurate of what you stated. This place takes legit to another level by completely draping you during the massage. No skin to skin touch whatsoever. Did you feel this place is more "prudish"? Cause most of us here on the board find that places that offer draped massage, only exposing parts that will be massaged one part a time is already prudish. I agree it is. So everyone here, this place is not for us as this fully drapped massage, it's not our cup of tea.
Sorry you had to experience it. I have not been back for many years.

Yes...I did mean Mei's Massage Centre and yes I do think it's too prudish. If the massage rocks...I'm all for going draped!!!
