I bought a $4,000 camera from an estate sale today for $400.

I went to the house and was looking at the items on display. I noticed the Canon 1DX on the table and I asked the woman who was organizing the sale how much she wanted for the camera. She said 'we are asking $400 for the camera'. I paused for a moment because I couldn't believe how little it was going for. I asked if the previous owner used it for hobby or professional use. She told me it was her Dad's camera and that he used it for personal use. So, in essence, the shutter count would be absurdly low, as such a camera can easily last 300,000 shutter actuations before it gives out. Maybe even 400,000 if one is lucky. Of course, I bought it right away.

Didn't get any lenses with it, but a 1DX for $400 is an absurdly low deal. In the used market, they go for 10x that amount.

Guys, if you ever have some free time, check your local ads for estate sales and auctions. You can get some amazingly wicked deals when people are clearing out their families belongins and they want to get rid of everything asap. When people pass, they have loads of great items that the families don't want to keep.

    Just an fyi.

Sure, take advantage of their grief, why don’t you?

Seriously, though, nice score! My greatest fear is that when I die, my wife will sell my stuff for what I told her I paid for it.

But! Did the thrill and excitement of that great find (it’s really like finding treasure or winning big at the casino), equal or surpass the euphoria of an orgasm with your fav lady?

I’d be tempted to sell it and use that $3,000 bonus for 30 hh sessions with Angela.

Imagine it , it works out to free weekly visits till Christmas.

Angela charges me $120, so it would equal 25 hh sessions, but yeah, I get what you mean.

She is so beautiful, I don't mind.

This is a picture taken with a 3 MP camera. MP doesn't make or break a camera. There are plenty of great finds out there for picture taking. You can easily buy a 3 MP camera for $5 these days.

I would buy a camera with the best lens, then a camera that has a good chip inside (processor). MP isn't that important.

I went to an auction today and saw vibrators being sold, used and repackaged.

They were selling for $11 - $16 each, and there were some fat ladies bidding on them.

No shame at all. I had a chuckle.

    OMFG. FAT. WOMEN.

Just bought a Nikon F mount 50mm 1.8 vintage lens. Amazingly sharp. Better than the current Canon 50mm 1.8 that sells for $189 at Staples.

    How much did I pay?

$1.30 plus $5 to go pick it up in gas and wear and tear on my car.

You guys have to start bidding in auctions. Amazing.

Dildos and vibrator are a hot commodity. I would bet that nearly half of all women own one.

Incorrect. 3 of my Chinese women (ex gfs/dates) had a dildo. Then again, some women of all races have one or dont.

You must hang around hookers. I don't.

Traditional mainland Chinese girls don't buy dildos.

You assume a lot but that is not a surprise. I dont date hookers or have them be my girlfriends. Hookers are there for a purpose. Fuck them. Pay them. Leave. Meanwhile your constant begging for Asian Angela is a sign of a Mangina. Just saying.

If your friends or GFs are buying Dildos..................well, what can I say?

LOL. They had them way before I came along but who cares. Whatever they want, good for them. Keep in mind, the population of "regular" Chinese girls are in the millions and are you implying that none of them have a dildo. Nope.

When I have a girlfriend, I am the only one who breaks the seal on that kitty. No other penis, dildo or anything else gets inserted in my GF's kitty.

    Only my penis.

If I find out anyone else or anything else is being inserted, I dump her. I own that kitty for the time being that I am her boyfriend.

I bought a Tamron macro lens yesterday for $60. Lady told me it is in mint condition, no scratches or anything else to the lens. Got home and it has a chip on the front of the lens. I didn't inspect it carefully and I didn't clean the lens in front of her. Big mistake on my part. Always bring cleaning wipes and clean the lens in front of the seller. I didn't do that yesterday.

Still works well, but the resale value won't be there, down the road.

Sometimes you score big, sometimes you lose big. Just like the hobby industry. Always take chances though. That's the only way to move forward.
